The NWU Faculty of Education is governed by several committees as is set out below:

Faculty Board (FB) Committee

1. Executive Dean (chairperson)
2. Deputy Deans
3. Directors (School and Research Directors)
4. Deputy Directors (Schools)
5. Academic employees elected by the academic employees with due account to the geographic representation of the faculty, the positions within the faculty as well as representation in terms of race, gender and disability. (NRF Rated Researcher: 2; Professor 6; Ass Prof 7; Senior Lecturer 7; Lecturer 7; Junior Lecturer 6)
6. Faculty Senior Administrator
7. Student representation by means of a representative of formally constituted substructures of the SRC and designated annually by the SRC
