Notice of Postponement of the 4th Annual Self-Directed Learning Conference 2020 to 2021.
It is with great regret that we announce that the SDL has taken a difficult decision to postpone this year’s 4th Annual Self-Directed Learning Conference, which was due to take place from November 2-5, 2020. The conference will still take place in Parys, Free State (exact venue to be announced in due course) but will now take place in November 2021 (details to communicated). This has not been an easy decision to make, but we firmly believe it is the right decision in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic. Our primary consideration is the wellbeing of our delegates, who will have many uncertainties to contend with during this enormously difficult period – we hope that by taking early, decisive action, we have at least removed one such uncertainty.
