The 6th International Self-Directed Learning Conference
The Research Unit Self-Directed Learning at the North-West University is pleased to announce that the 6th International Self-Directed Learning (SDL) Conference will be held from 1 to 3 November 2023.
This conference will be hosted at Pecan Manor Boutique Conference & Function Venue, Hartbeespoort, South Africa - Away from the hustle and bustle of city life, Pecan Manor is the ideal venue for hosting our conference and is a comfortable 45 minute drive from Pretoria, Johannesburg and Rustenburg.
Conference Cost:
- Full Conference 1- 3 November (includes all dinners): R4 935.00
- Daily Attendance (includes lunch, excludes dinners): R1 385 per day
- Gala Dinner (optional for attendees only attending 2 November): R699.00
Closing date for Conference registration: 10 October 2023

Students who have their abstracts accepted for the conference are eligible for a 50% discount on the conference registration fee. (This discount is applicable to SDL students who are not staff members of NWU)
