The Research Unit Self-Directed Learning at the North-West University will be introducing the following SDL awards in 2021. There are three categories, namely:

1.  Extraordinary contribution to promote Self-Directed Learning in the broader community.

2.  Extraordinary research publication in Self-Directed Learning.

3.  Exceptional student achievement in Self-Directed Learning research.

These awards will be awarded to an individual in recognition of their outstanding contribution to SDL. Candidates may be nominated by any individual or institution for consideration by the Research Unit Self-Directed Learning of the North-West University. Nominations should be accompanied by a comprehensive curriculum vitae as well as a motivation to indicate that the candidate meets the required criteria.
